Data processed

The site offers no account, no data submission form and no newsletter sign-up. The simulators run their calculations in the visitor’s browser: the values entered are neither transmitted nor stored. The only data processed are:

  • messages you voluntarily send to the publisher (email address, name and message content), in order to reply;
  • technical connection data (IP address, browser, requested page) recorded by the host in its logs to ensure the security and operation of the site.

No data is sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Cookies and trackers

The site itself sets no cookies, including technical ones, and uses no local storage and no audience measurement, advertising or social network tool. This was established by a check carried out on 15 October 2026 on the site’s pages.

Some photographs (home page and part of the articles) are loaded from the images.unsplash.com domain, operated by Unsplash. This transmits the visitor’s IP address to Unsplash and its delivery provider, which may set the following technical cookies:

_cfuvidimages.unsplash.comTechnical cookie of the delivery provider, request rate limitingBrowsing session

The site’s fonts are loaded from the Google Fonts service. This transmits the visitor’s IP address to Google, without setting any cookie.

You can configure your browser at any time to refuse or delete cookies, in its privacy settings.

Recipients and transfers outside the European Union

The data is only accessible to the publisher and, for technical data, to the host (GitHub, Inc.) and the Google Fonts service, both based in the United States, and to Unsplash and its delivery provider for the images loaded from its domain. These transfers are governed by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR.

Retention periods

  • Messages received and associated addresses: 3 years from the last exchange.
  • Technical logs: according to the host’s rules.
